This guide covers Ella Bright’s biography, career, age, education, television and film work, Off Campus role, relationship rumors, and what could be next for the rising actress.
Who Is Ella Bright?
Ella Bright is an actress known primarily for playing Hannah Wells in Off Campus. The Prime Video series adapts Elle Kennedy’s popular Off Campus book series and follows the relationships, friendships, and personal challenges of students at Briar University.
Before Off Campus, Ella Bright had already developed an impressive résumé for a young performer. She appeared as Darrell Rivers in the television adaptation of Malory Towers, played young Kate Middleton in The Crown, appeared in Holmes & Watson, and performed as Lily Potter Jr. in the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Her career is therefore broader than her recent breakout role suggests. Off Campus has simply introduced Ella Bright to a much larger international audience.

How Old Is Ella Bright?
Ella Bright was born on November 27, 2006, making her 19 years old in 2026. She was born in New York City and later grew up in North London.
Her age has become a frequent search topic because she was still very young when she filmed the first season of Off Campus. Bright was 18 during production, while her co-star Belmont Cameli was considerably older.
The age difference attracted discussion among viewers, but Bright has publicly explained that she felt comfortable working with the cast and understood the requirements of the role before accepting it.
Her relatively young age also puts her career achievements into perspective. By her late teens, Ella Bright had already accumulated television, film, and stage credits and received recognition for her work on Malory Towers.
Ella Bright’s Early Life and Education
Ella Bright was born in New York but grew up in North London. She has British and American connections and has worked on productions on both sides of the Atlantic.
She attended South Hampstead High School in London and completed her A Levels in 2025. Her early education took place alongside the development of her acting career, which began when she was still a child.
Rather than coming to acting through one sudden opportunity, Ella Bright gradually built experience across television, film, theatre, and other performance work.
Public information about her parents and wider family is limited. Although searches for Ella Bright parents are common, there is no need to fill that gap with speculation. Unless Bright or a reliable publication has publicly confirmed a family detail, it is better to leave it unreported.
Ella Bright’s Acting Career
Ella Bright started acting professionally at a young age. Her early television credit came in the crime drama Legends, where she appeared in an episode during the show’s 2015 run.
Her career expanded through several different types of roles. She later became especially familiar to younger audiences through Malory Towers, the television adaptation of Enid Blyton’s school stories.
Her career highlights include:

| Legends | Clarissa Graves | Early television credit |
| Harry Potter and the Cursed Child | Lily Potter Jr. | West End theatre experience |
| Holmes & Watson | Bridgette | Film credit |
| Malory Towers | Darrell Rivers | Major long-running television role |
| The Crown | Young Kate Middleton | High-profile Netflix series |
| Off Campus | Hannah Wells | Breakthrough leading role |
This range is important when considering Ella Bright’s career. She is not simply a newcomer who appeared in Off Campus. She had spent years developing her craft before receiving her biggest screen opportunity.
Ella Bright and Harry Potter
One of the more interesting searches surrounding the actress is Ella Bright Harry Potter.
Bright performed as Lily Potter Jr. in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at London’s Palace Theatre between 2017 and 2018.
The stage production is part of the wider Harry Potter universe but should not be confused with the original film series. Bright’s involvement was a theatre role rather than a starring role in one of the Harry Potter movies.
This credit is significant because it shows that she gained professional stage experience very early in her career.
Ella Bright in The Crown
Another frequently searched topic is Ella Bright in The Crown.
Bright appeared in Netflix’s The Crown as a young Kate Middleton. Her appearance came in Season 6, giving her the opportunity to work on one of television’s most internationally recognized dramas.
Although it was a relatively small role compared with her later work in Off Campus, the credit helped expand her screen résumé.
It also means viewers who recognize her from Off Campus may have already seen Ella Bright before without realizing it.
Ella Bright in Malory Towers
For many viewers, Malory Towers was one of Ella Bright’s most important early roles.
She played Darrell Rivers in the BBC adaptation based on Enid Blyton’s books. The role gave Bright substantial experience as a leading young performer and helped establish her before her move into adult-oriented romantic drama.
Her work on the series also earned significant industry recognition, including BAFTA and Emmy nominations for young-performer categories.
This period of her career is particularly useful for understanding how Ella Bright developed from a child performer into the actress audiences now know from Off Campus.
Ella Bright in Off Campus
Off Campus represents the biggest turning point in Ella Bright’s career so far.
In the Prime Video series, she plays Hannah Wells, a talented music student at Briar University. Hannah becomes involved with Garrett Graham, the university’s hockey star, played by Belmont Cameli.
The story uses a fake-dating setup to bring the two characters closer together, but the relationship becomes more complicated as they develop genuine feelings.
Hannah is more than a typical romantic-comedy character. Her ambitions, personal experiences, friendships, and emotional challenges give Ella Bright opportunities to play a character with greater depth.
The role also required Bright to carry a large portion of the show’s emotional and romantic storyline, helping establish her as a leading actress rather than simply a supporting performer.
How Ella Bright Got Her Off Campus Role
Landing Hannah Wells was a major career moment for Ella Bright.
Before Off Campus, she had already built a strong résumé, but the scale and visibility of the Prime Video production offered something different. Her chemistry read with Belmont Cameli was particularly important because Hannah and Garrett’s relationship sits at the center of the first season.
Bright has discussed the process of taking the role and the preparation involved. She was aware of the demands of the production and the nature of the character before committing to the series.
The opportunity ultimately became a major leap forward in her career.
Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli
Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli have attracted significant attention because of their strong chemistry as Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham.
On screen, their characters have a romantic relationship. Off screen, however, the situation is different.
Fans have repeatedly speculated about their friendship because of their interactions, social-media activity, and chemistry in interviews. The actors have pushed back against the idea that every change on social media represents a real-life conflict.
In 2026, both Bright and Cameli addressed rumors of a feud and made it clear that they remain friends.
That distinction matters: an on-screen romance does not automatically mean the actors are romantically involved in real life.
Are Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli Dating?
There is no reliable public confirmation that Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli are dating.
Their chemistry in Off Campus has naturally encouraged fan speculation, but the actors’ real-life friendship should not be presented as a romantic relationship without evidence.
The pair have also addressed rumors that they had fallen out after fans noticed changes involving their social-media posts. Bright and Cameli have both treated the speculation lightly and indicated that there is no major feud between them.
For readers searching for Ella Bright dating information, the safest conclusion is that her confirmed private relationship status is not publicly established.
Ella Bright at the 2026 MTV VMAs
Ella Bright reached another major public milestone when she attended the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
She appeared alongside Belmont Cameli, and the two presented during the event. Their appearance was particularly notable because it came shortly after filming for the second season of Off Campus.
The VMAs also generated fashion coverage for Bright. She appeared in a dramatic black silk corset-style gown and paired the look with a pearl necklace and sunglasses.
Her appearance demonstrated how quickly her profile has expanded beyond television. In addition to acting coverage, fashion publications are now following Ella Bright’s red-carpet appearances.
Ella Bright’s New Dark Hair
One of the biggest beauty stories surrounding her 2026 VMAs appearance was her hair transformation.
Bright moved away from the lighter brown hair with warmer tones that audiences had previously associated with her and appeared with a much deeper brunette shade.
The dark chocolate-brown look complemented her black gown and gave her VMAs appearance a more dramatic style.
The transformation also generated attention from fashion and beauty publications, which connected the darker shade with the broader brunette trend for fall 2026.
For fans primarily interested in Ella Bright’s appearance, this was one of the most noticeable changes surrounding her latest public event.
Ella Bright Movies and TV Shows
Ella Bright’s filmography includes a mixture of television, film, theatre, and streaming projects.
Her best-known screen work includes Malory Towers, The Crown, Legends, Holmes & Watson, and Off Campus. Her theatre background includes Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
One useful way to understand her career is to separate her earlier projects from her breakout:
Early career: Legends, theatre work, and Holmes & Watson
Breakthrough television: Malory Towers
High-profile supporting credit: The Crown
International breakout: Off Campus
This progression shows that her current popularity is the result of years of acting experience rather than an overnight start.
Ella Bright Height
Ella Bright’s reported height is approximately 5 feet 5 inches, or about 1.65 meters.
Height information for actors can vary between databases and entertainment profiles, so it is more accurate to describe this as a reported measurement rather than an officially confirmed personal statistic.
Her height is also frequently discussed alongside Belmont Cameli because the two have a noticeable height difference when appearing together.
Ella Bright Net Worth
There is no widely verified public figure that can reliably establish Ella Bright’s exact net worth.
Various celebrity websites may publish estimated numbers, but those figures should be treated cautiously unless they are supported by credible financial information.
Ella Bright’s income is likely connected to her acting work, television projects, theatre experience, and growing profile in entertainment and fashion. However, estimating an exact fortune from publicly available information would be speculative.
For that reason, it is better to focus on her confirmed career achievements than attach an unsupported dollar amount to her name.
Ella Bright Social Media
Ella Bright has a public Instagram presence where she has shared aspects of her professional and personal life.
Her social-media activity has also become part of the wider fan conversation surrounding Off Campus. However, changes to posts or follows should not automatically be interpreted as evidence of a personal dispute.
This became especially relevant when fans speculated about her friendship with Belmont Cameli.
Social media can offer a glimpse into a celebrity’s public activities, but it rarely provides enough information to establish private relationships or personal circumstances with certainty.
What Is Next for Ella Bright?
Ella Bright’s career appears to be entering an important new phase.
She is returning for Off Campus Season 2, although the upcoming season shifts its central romantic storyline toward Dean and Allie. Hannah and Garrett remain part of the wider Briar University story, giving Bright an opportunity to continue developing the character without simply repeating the first season’s plot.
Bright has also been linked to new screen projects, suggesting that Off Campus may become a launchpad rather than the peak of her career.
With experience in children’s television, prestige drama, film, theatre, and streaming romance, she has already demonstrated considerable range for an actress in her teens.
